Block access to your admin pages by country.
A very simple plugin that just does what it's supposed to do.
What more can anyone ask for?
Does not work, used Chinese proxy to access my site.
I had the same problem as azlivin008. Blocked access to entire admin area until I deleted plugin folder via FTP.
When I try to activate the plugin, my site just hangs. I had to go to the host control and completely delete the plugin from the wp-content folder to get my site running again!
Friend developer, for 3 days back in my wordpress sites were with your Administration Panel Very Slow I had a big fight with my service provider web host thinking the problem was with them, but was not, I was sick in can not find a solution.
I use almost 25 active plugins on each of my sites, and none of them had this error slowness in WP Administration Panel. I disabled your plugin on each site and everything returned to normal.
I believe that other users of your plugin is having this problem, check ASAP, because the plugin is causing a big slowdown in WP Administration Panel.
Your Plugin is a great safety feature, but by this time need urgent repair.
Funciona, uffs!! Una molt bona idea!! Genial !!
This plugin simply does not work. I am still being bombarded with ip's from China, Romania, & Ukraine.
I was being peppered with failed logins, always from foreign countries. This app blocked them all! 100% successful.
FYI, I use All In One WP Security, which shows me the failed log-ins.
The only caution: When you click "select all" on the country list, it also selects my own country! (although there's a note saying it won't select your own country) - apparently there's a small bug there.
Admin Block Country 1.0 blocked me out of my WP admin page (apparently by changing the ht.acess file). I'm a WP newbie, so I don't have a clear understanding of the issue, but I had to resolve it through my host server. Although I really like the idea of blocking my site from IPs by country, this plug-in was just a headache. I am using WordPress 3.6, and the plug in does not seem to be compatible with this version.
Update: I received a quick response from the developer, who is very helpful. I suspect my problem was either from plug-in (Better WP Security 3.5.5) or theme (Responsive 184.108.40.206) incompatibilities, as I was able to get access to my admin page after deactivating both of these files via my server, as well as Admin Country Block. Once I was in Admin again, I deleted Admin Block Country, deactivated Better WP Security, cleared my .htacess file, reactivated my Responsive theme, refreshed my permalinks and everything was back to normal.
I installed Wordfence Security and I couldn't believe how many people from overseas were trying to access my wp-admin directory. Once I built this plugin, they stopped coming. Pretty simple, everyone should install this plugin and Wordfence Security.
