Does not work for my site
By , for WP 3.7.1

The avatar files upload fine but they break when they should be displayed.

My site is at http://server/blog (there are multiple sites I am running on that server)

I created a directory called http://server/blog/avatars and sure enough the plugin will upload the files to that site.

So now I have an image at http://server/blog/avatars/avatar.jpg

BUT, when it tries to display the file it uses the URL

http://server/avatars/avatar.jpg <- and since this file does not exist the link is broken.

Thanks!

This is the best plugin to load a custom avatar!
Avatars are not downloaded to the shared folder of images to a website. It is very convenient. The other similar plugins use a common image folder for avatars. This creates confusion.
But there are several problems with scaling large images, sometimes errors occur. And I could not get rid of these in the code size of avatars.
I hope the author will improve the plug-in in the future.
Many thanks for a great plugin! I wish you success!

PS. Sorry for my bad English. :)

Made my Admin page go blank.
By , for WP 3.6.1

Installing this plugin has caused me hours of headache. As soon as I activated it my admin page went blank. Trying to deactivate it has caused a cascade of other problems (probably not the fault of the plug-in). If you do decide to download, make sure you know how to deactivate it on your server before you hit the button.

What a shame! So many silly bugs. Great potential.
By , for WP 3.5.1

On install settings page needed 3 or 4 updates updates to enable the various locked options to allow users to upload an image, set it t obe resized, and finally what size to resize it to.

Upload images popup then has two broken image urls including the one that shows what the cropped image will look like.

Cropping ability not even made available on upload.

I feel these faults are so basic that I doubt much testing has been undertaken by the developer at all.

Notes: This was installed on a local test server with no other plugins and the Twenty Eleven theme.
