• We are using email-before-download plugin which works fine in terms of the set-up. However, when using the download link [file_url] to download the zip file from the “download-email” the file appears corrupt. When we just use a hard coded path to the same zip-file, the file unzips fine, so the file itself is not the issue. Could anyone tell me if there is a solution to this issue?

    I hope you can help.

    Regards, Richard

    Hello satcreative,

Thank you for your interest in out plugin. We have thoroughly tested zip files and haven’t run across any issues. We suggest trying out Download Monitor on its own as well as Contact Form 7 to ensure they are configured properly on their own.

Also, Please check out our post here http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-email-before-download-sticky-getting-faster-support?replies=18 for more information.

    Hello MandS consulting,

Thanks for your response. We found out what the issue was. Apparently our client had updated the download file via FTP and not via the actual plugin, which caused the file to be corrupt. By following the normal route it works fine. I thought I’d let you know in case others have the same issue. So there was nothing wrong with the plugin, you’ll be pleased to know. 🙂

    Regards, Richard.
