Hi. I am developing a woocommerce site to replace an old ZenCart site. I need to know how to export my custoemrs and orders from zencart to woocommerce. I DO NOT need to export my products and I'd prefer a free method but I am open to paid options.

    Hello,

I've used this paid plugin in the past and it was worth every penny if it's within your budget: http://www.wpallimport.com/woocommerce-product-import/

    Thanks,
    Lucas

Great, that seems like it'll work for what I need. If I can't find anything else, I'll definitely look into it more. I was wondering though if there is any manual way to import a CSV file with the information (for a relative beginner) or if that would be too complicated?

There is this free plugin in the repository: https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-csvimport/

There is also this extension from the makers of WooCommerce: http://www.woothemes.com/products/product-csv-import-suite/

I've not used either, so cannot comment on their quality, but if you can manipulate your exported data to match the format required in the first plugin you should be able to use it, which is free.

Thank you. The reason I did not use the first one is because in FAQ it said ""Fields you can import: What fields can i import?
    sku
    post_name (permalink)
    post_status
    post_title
    post_content
    post_excerpt
    category
    tags
    stock
    price
    regular_price
    sales_price
    weight
    length
    width
    height
    images (deprecated)
    featured_image
    product_gallery
    tax_status
    tax_class
    stock_status
    visibility
    backorder
    featured
    manage_stock
    shipping_class
    comment_status
    ping_status
    menu_order
    change_stock"

I am not sure if that is an exhaustive list. Do you think I would be able to use it to import customer data as well?

Oh sorry, I forgot that you mentioned in the OP that you wanted to import orders/customers, not products - I'm not sure either of those will help you.

WooCommerce has an extension for this: http://www.woothemes.com/products/customerorder-csv-import-suite/

There is also a third-party service that offers this type of migration:
    http://www.shopping-cart-migration.com/shopping-cart-migration-options/4913-zencart-to-woocommerce-migration

I've used the latter once or twice in the past with some success. They'll provide an estimate and let you perform a limited test import for free.
