Youtuebe urls in HTML format not working

    I import all my posts via a csv importer. So my youtube urls are wrapped in this way:

    <p>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fktuPPNkQpQ</p&gt;

    When the post is published everything is fine except the youtube videos which just display the url, and do not have the video ready to play.

    If I manually go on and take out the html tags around the video and then publish it again, it works fine. But I need an automatic way of fixing this. Any ideas.
