Try that and set z-index on the elements in question and you should be good as gold
I tried setting the z-index on the navigation menu to 9999 but that didn't work. I am using shortcode on the page and it streams in 1 YouTube video from the YouTube user's account.
How do I get this video to appear behind the navigation menu even when using shortcode?

The solution is in the youtube code. I tried the z-index stuff I found and nothing worked. But the link above explains what to do and it works like a charm!
