    Okay.. I have been working all day and I have tried very hard to not create a forum post because I hate being that guy that re-posts an already covered topic. I've had no luck so I am posting now.

    I am simply trying to upload a youtube video to a page in my website. The problem I am having is that the embed code from youtube is being ignored. When capturing the embed code from Youtube I set the size to 560x315. Now.. when I preview it in my blog the video is size all the way across the page and not to the dimentions that I specified.

    Here is an example from my website of what is happening:

    I want this video to be half the size and I can not make it any smaller.

    I turned off/deleted any YouTube related widget that I have and I have also tried to use the shortcode [&w=560], etc.. and still no luck.

    Any suggestions how to make the videos resize to the specific dimensions? I am using Mantra theme and perhaps that is what is causing the problem?? Thanks so much for your time!

    The problem appears to be coming from your theme's CSS:

    .fluid-width-video-wrapper iframe, .fluid-width-video-wrapper object, .fluid-width-video-wrapper embed {
        height: 100%;
        left: 0;
        position: absolute;
        top: 0;
        width: 100%;
    }

    It's not in the stylesheet. It's being added to the page's <head></head> section.

    Thanks so much! Now to really show how dumb I am... I will follow up with.. So how can I fix it so that when I set the dimensions in youtube the website will "listen" to the code from youtube? Is that possible?

    Does your theme have a custom CSS option?
