Ok, so I have built a wordpress site before, my current problem seems to be getting a theme to work with my webpage. Right now I keep getting a page that says this:
Your website is ready.
This site has been successfully created and is ready for content to be added. Replace this default page with your own index page.
Of course this is what you get before you have installed WordPress while using Laughing Squid as the host, however I have installed wordpress properly (or so I think).
Step by step what I have done:
Bought a domain name from 1and1 (bigtimehype.tv)
Purchased Laughing Squid Cloud Hosting (Micro Squid)
Changed the DNS at 1and1 to point to LS
Went through WP '5 min' install process as usual.
Ran the install, brought up my new dashboard.
Installed theme and attempted to preview then activate the theme, but led me to the page described above.
I can access my WP Dashboard and everything just fine, even install themes etc. but I can't preview them without getting this screen and, obviously, I keep getting this screen when I go to the actual domain URL.
I have done everything in my power to try and figure out why this is happening but I can't seem to. Can anyone help?
