   I've seen it discussed many a place, but with no specfic error. I am a first timer at this, installed and database set up. But any time i try to log in to the admin panel i get caught in the "Your database is out-of-date. Please upgrade." loop. (i click upgrade, it says all done have fun, then loops me back to the Your database is out-of-date. Please upgrade. page.)

   Please please help, this is driving me crazy!

   There is something wrong with your whole installation: none of the internal links work, they just give a totally blank page.

   I'd delete everything, including the DB tables, and start from scratch.
   Was this a manual install or some automated thing?
