[resolved] Your cart is empty | No download link after upgrading to 1.4.0.3 (10 posts)

    I just upgraded to version 1.4.0.3, and now I can't download anything after completing a purchase. The receipt is shown, but there is no download link, and all I can see is the message "Your cart is empty".

    I'm under a cPanel VPS with a few sites, and only this one uses the EDD plugin; I have the sessions enabled; the "tmp" folder for this site is even set to 777, and I can't figure out how to solve it anymore. Everything was working very well before upgrading.

  2. Is the purchase receipt sent okay?

    I don't send the receipt. I only send a 'thank you' for downloading e-mail as the downloads are for free at this moment. If this is what you mean, yes, the automatic e-mail is working properly once the "purchase" is completed and the "receipt" is shown.

    Any idea about what's going on and how to solve it?

    I have the similar problem. "Thank you" page used to show downloadable URLs with the short code [edd_receipt], but now the links are not shown. (the order summary was shown properly.)

    The {download_list} short code in a confirmation e-mail is working fine and it shows a proper download URLs.

    "...I have found the problem and fixed it. It was caused by the “No Redownload” option you had checked in Downloads > Settings > Misc.
    This option makes it so customers cannot re-download their purchases from their payment history (which I assume is what you wanted), but we made a mistake and also prevented the files from being download from the purchase receipt if their option was enabled.
    I’ve fixed the bug on your site and also in the core plugin for the next version.
    Please take a look and let me know if it is all working how you want now."

    Is there an easy manner we can solve it or revert it back to an older version without losing anything?

  7. The easiest way to solve it for now is to disable the "No Redownload" option. Or you could apply the change shown here: https://github.com/pippinsplugins/Easy-Digital-Downloads/commit/7c020bfbf77ca0ba869896bd0f5fddd78d321707

    Thanks so much! :)
    I'll have a try right now.

    BTW, I've uninstalled the plugin, and I'll reinstall it again.
    Did you change anything from the past version 1.4.0.3?
    Should I just include those red lines once I install it?

    Thanks again, it's working.
    It is just to remove and not include those red lines from 'shortcode-receipt.php'.

    if ( edd_no_redownload() )
                 continue;
  10. Yep, that's all you need to do.
