    Well done… but in practice this plug-in by itself does the half of the job: it creates the custom post type but doesn’t help in the display.
    In practice either you BUY the other half of the plug-in (called Views) or you have to dig A LOT in the code.

  • Hi Michele. Thanks for sharing your opinion. Sorry to hear you’re not satisfied with Types. Types plugin helps to create and manage custom post types and fields. You can display them later using shortcodes or dedicated API.

    Views plugin cooperates with Types, I agree, but is meant for something different: to be able to create complex page/post views using GUI without php coding.

    Actually, it has shortcodes that display the types and fields produced by the plugin. If you want Views-like functionality, could you please recommend a free plugin that provides both Types-like functionality and Views-like functionality this? I sincerely would like to know about it.
