Out of the blue, I just started getting the 'You don't have permission to do that' error when posting, adding categories, and more. I've read through every single ticket on the topic, tried all of the suggestions, but the bottom line is that nothing is working, and I'm about to switch away from WordPress b/c of it. This kind of bug should not still be around, as it's been well documented for over a year.

Here's what I've done so far:
    - downloaded the ajax referer plugin
    - updated the pluggable.php file
    - de-activated all plugins
    - re-installed wordpress

I can't keep going on without being able to post. If someone can't come up with a solution, I'll have no choice but to switch product.

The crickets are chirping. This is like the dirty little secret that nobody from wordpress wants to acknowledge exists.

    Hi Sumit,

Yeah it does work from IE. So it's a wordpress compatibility issue with firefox?
