    Hi there!
    Every time I try to edit a post, I get this message:

    You don't have permission to access /wp-admin/post.php on this server.

    I read in some other posts that it might be an .htaccess file problem, but the solutions weren't working for me.

    My .htaccess file looks like this:

    # BEGIN WordPress
    <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /
    RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
    </IfModule>

    # END WordPress

    Can anyone help?

    Hi,

    What are the permissions on the actual file itself? You can check with an FTP client or command line depending on your hosting setup. If you let us know what FTP client you use we can give more details on how to do that or you can talk to your hosting provider about it. That all depends on how you have the site hosted etc..

    Cheers,
    Chad

    I use Transmit, and post.php has 777 access.
