    bump, + some more info.

    i verified that the Admin PW is correct. i copied of the following tables from the production site
    comments
    links
    options
    posts
    postmeta
    terms
    terms_relationships
    term_taxonomy

    i maintained
    user_meta
    users

    one difference i noticed is the fantastico created test site uses: latin_swedish_ci and the production site uses utf8_general_ci

    I get the similar error.

    Forbidden
    You don't have permission to access /wp-includes/js/tinymce/tiny_mce_config.php on this server.

    Tried to add .htacces file with :

    <IfModule mod_security.c>
    SecFilterInheritance Off
    </IfModule>

    but it didn't help.

    I'm also getting this error - have managed to load wp 2.7.1 to my host, and get it working.
    Have changed the theme ok, but when I try to change the settings,

    I get Forbidden you don't have permission to access this document

    Where do I go to fix this please? It's quite annoying, even
    though the site is working.

    Any help appreciated
    Wolfwood
