Greetings to all,
I've upgraded a WP 2.5 blog to WP 2.7. After upgrading the database, I was facing... a white page. Reload, and reload again, nothing at all. I've clear Firefox cache, try another browser. Still nothing. Back to the server, I erased everything and I reinstall a fresh new WP 2.7 without any plugin except askimet. No new themes were added except the three that came with WP 2.7. Still that white page. So, here I am, with that brand new install, and that white page.
If i try to login (http://www.mydomain.com/wp-login.php), the systems accept my username and my password and then, gave me a white page with that phrase: "You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page"
What i've done wrong?
regards
Michel

Oops, sorry, I,ve forgot to tell you:
I've try the force_upgrade.php. Clear the cookies. See if I have to change from 'a:1:{s:10:"subscriber";b:1;}' to 'a:1:{s:13:"administrator";b:1;}'.
Still that white page and still "You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page" after i've logged.

Did you originally log on as Admin?
What is your url?
This probably could be corrected by accessing the db but I would have to check mine out first.

Well, you can get to the password/user through the db. The password is encrypted in the db and I don't know if you can just drop in a new unencrypted password.
You might post a question: How to change WP user password in database
I don't know if anyone will respond or not. I am off now to do chores for my wife
if you're the admin you can simply check " lost password " and a new one will be emailed to you.
