After installing the plugin, clicking into the settings page causes the error "You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page."

The URL it's attempting to access is: http://growthsparkdev.com/careguide/wp-admin/admin.php?page=feedwordpress/syndication.php

I have deactivated all other plugins and even tried switching to the default TwentyTwelve theme to rule out any theme or plugin conflicts.

Update: I needed to "Upgrade FeedWordPress". The problem was that I could not get the "Upgrade FeedWordPress" page from the main plugin page. You need to click on one of the other plugin pages...

I solved the problem on my site. My theme was removing the capability "manage_links" for administrators, which I guess was preventing the plugin settings page from loading. Took that out and it worked fine.

I am still having issues allowing editors to work with the plugin in multisite.
What is the capability name so I can try using add_cap() ?

    add_cap('manage_links')
