   I'm getting this message on my dashboard:

   Want more referrers? You could turn on Publicize, or you could comment on other blogs!

   But the Publicize feature appears to be on WordPress.com only. What's going on?

   But the issue here is that Publicize is only available on wordpress.com hosted sites. Not on self-hosted WordPress sites.

   Yes, so why am I getting this message on the dashboard of my self-hosted site?

   Is is an error, is there a version of Publicize for self-hosted sites but it isn't visible yet or is there some other explanation.

   Hi @billbennett,

   Thanks for noticing this. A recent change to Site Stats that shouldn't have gone out to Jetpack users leaked through. Sorry about that. Fixed now.
