Yoast SEO keyword density

    Im using Yoast SEO on wordpress. It tells me i have 20 keywords on the page while from what i can see, there is only 6 in the actual content . it seems to include image names, alt tags, and keywords in link address. Meanwhile Seobook and other keyword density checkers all have there own results

    What is the best keyword density checker?
    and do image names, alt tags, and keywords in links count ?

    I use Keyword Statistics by Alexander Müller, it does fine for me on my site, allstuffweb.com… The only issue is that it has a ton of SEO Features that i don’t need, so i’m currently looking to replace it with something that just counts the keywords vs the other content, no SEO / Meta tags, since i use YOAST SEO combined with some features from “SEO Ultimate Plugin”… I’ll look around and if i find something else useful, i will let you know 🙂

    I’ve found that Databecker has a nice plugin, does exactly what i need, but it’s in German :\
