    Hi Guys,

I was running my site on Thesis for a longtime (several years), but have reverted to using 2012 for the responsive side of it, and because I know a lot more about customising via child themes than I did when I bought it.

After I installed the WordPress SEO by Yoast I got a pop-up welcome to the plugin that emanated from the Yoast settings menu. It offers “Click to Start the Tour”, or Close. Unfortunately I have done the tour but it persists in popping up on every new screen in my admin, so I have to close it every time before I start to do anything else. It’s taking up a bit of time – and does not even respond to shouting.

    The message is:

“You’ve just installed WordPress SEO by Yoast! Click “Start Tour” to view a quick introduction of this plugins core functionality.”

I selected to run the 2012 theme instead of Thesis, but it continues to appear. Can’t see anything that could cause it, I’m assuming it’s some kind of conflict with Thesis that installing the 2012 theme has not over-ridden?

Or a conflict with a plug-in? Should I try systematically disabling plugins, or temporarily disabling the folder in FTP?

But then I don’t know whether I can do the same for the Thesis files. Anyone know about purging Thesis completely?

All I want to do is stop Yoast bugging me for his tour!

    Cheers, Phil
