It's my first blog (but not first site by any means). Built on WordPress (of course) and a modified Rin theme. Content is on it's way :)
Comments welcome - I have a few cosmetic issues to fix (the comment box is screwed up and I want to change the search bar) but I still like it how it is!

Not bad; maybe a little too much white in there. Maybe change the body background to a shade of light gray to break it up a bit. Also, the header image is just kind of weird the way it starts getting blurry from left to right. I don't know if that's what you were going for, but I didn't really dig it that much. Also, try styling the search bar. That will make it fit in a little more. Very clean layout, though, and better than I could do!

I agree that a background would be a good break from the white, otherwise, it's a nice design.
