Yet another IE7 page display problem... "role" attribute (2 posts)

    Hi all,

I'm brand new to WordPress and website design in general. I've just setup hosting for a domain that I own (via hostgator.com), and I've used their cPanel interface to run Fantastico in order to install WP. I haven't posted anything to the blog yet; the only content is the right-out-of-the-box default page.

    Here's the site:

You probably know the chorus to this song: "When viewed in Firefox, the page looked great, but in IE7, it's 1988..." So basically the page rendering is broken in IE7. I have run the page through W3 Validator service: W3 Validator and I'm seeing errors referring to the "role" attribute.

Any ideas on how I can fix this and get my page to work correctly in IE7?

    Thanks very much!

    James

I think that the role attributes may be too new for the validator and are thus flagged as errors.
