    Hi guys.

    here is my problem:

i moved my site from godaddy to bluehost (including every single file).

everything worked great. but there is one problem: the blog side bar does not work anymore. if you put a widget into it, it will appear UNDER the article and not in the right side bar.

side bar works great on frontpage, but not on posts sites.

PS: i already deactvated every plugin in, but that didnt fix it.

    best regards

Sounds like a css problem but I don’t know why it wouldn’t work on one host but not another.

Get and use firefoxes fire bug, it will high light the various divs and tell/show you their style widths abd what file and line number the style is at. It’s a great help in things like this.

Sometimes content in a post or page can cause the sidebar to drop down below as well. This is especially common when copy/pasting from a word processor like Microsoft Word, or even when copy/pasting from another site on the internet.

Try deactivating a bunch of posts and see if it makes a difference. Try re-installing your theme as well. When you test these things, keep your plugins disabled, just in case there is a conflict between them and whatever element you are testing.
