    Hi,

I cannot retrieve any data using yelp shortcodes using this plugin, although other plugins are able to connect to & retrieve data from YELP successfully – this indicates it is not a API call limit.

I have tried to expand the search to ensure that some data is returned but I still get nothing!

    [yelp lat=”33.4147″ lng=”-111.9086″ radius=”10″ sortby=”distance” term=”” \]

When I examine the page in the website all I an see are the <p> tags above and below where the shortcode is inserted. I cannot provide a URL as the site is not yet published.

    Please help!

    Hi there,

when I posted your shortcode into my site, I thought something was wrong, because it was showing Yelp businesses near Tempe. So I figured it was some caching issues, since I live in Phoenix and test everything on local addresses. Then I plugged your coordinates into Google Maps and what a surprise – you’re local 🙂

If you’re working on a local machine, I have a feeling you have allow_url_fopen set to Off in your php.ini file. Edit the php.ini – find the allow_url_fopen directive and set it to On. Restart your server and try Yelp shortcode again.

    Hope that helps.
