Ye Olde Bloge: Feedback Please

    Good monring, everyone! My blog has been live for a few weeks now and would love some feedback:

    Much like everyone else here, writing has always been an incredible passion of mine, so, I recently decided to take the plunge and publish a blog to communicate with the world! For me, it was an incredibly scary step as my writing has traditionally been an internal and private matter.

    That said, I did it and would love some feedback from fellow bloggers as to how my blog/writing style is.

    I don’t have a specific category that I want to be limited in writing about, so my plan is write about whatever comes to mind, what really moves me, or some crazy real life stories.

    Hello there…

    I just hoped over to your blog to take a quick peek.

    I found it nice and clean, and easy to read.

    The only thing that I found distracting was your heavy use of the dashed dividers. I think they particularly take away from the elegance of the boxes that have the green gradient background. Personally, I would use a horizontal divider element instead; that is, “<hr>”.

    You might also want to consider using some CSS3 on your boxes to give them rounded corners and borders. This way, you could even make each entry its own individual box, and even add a box shadow to them in order to give them more depth.

    If you want an idea of what I am talking about, you can check out my new blog here. It has only been up since last month as well.

    I would suggest doing the same thing with your footer; that is, put it in its own CSS box.

    You might also want to consider putting a box shadow on the entire main white content box for added depth.

    These are just personal suggestions. We each have our own styles. 🙂
