What version of WordPress are you using? Do you get any error in your browser's JavaScript/error console?
3.0 or 3.1 I think
I really would like to use it any way to fix it?
I am having the exact same issue. AND I did try going to the "screen options" as I saw in other posts - but clicking that does not show the view options either. Nothing is happening at all. I am on a MAC, and tried in both Safari and Firefox.
I am using WordPress version 3.0.4
I think this is fixed in the latest dev version. Could you try it out?

Thank you, it is working perfectly now.
Great.
I just downloaded and installed this plugin, but it's not working: http://www.diypics.com
It's supposed to use titles, categories, and tags to find related content, and it's not doing anything. Plus, I told it not to give the widget a title, and the title shows up anyway.
Is there a fix?
I'm using WP 3.1 ish.
Thanks
Is it displaying "no related posts" or not printing anything at all?
Actually, I wish I'd known that when you change a widget, sometimes it takes 15-30 minutes for the change to show up. I've had a hell of a time trying to "fix" widgets that were probably fixed but I didn't know it.
As for a related posts widget that works, I've found several that work fine if all you need are titles displayed. As soon as you want a thumbnail, then there's the issue of having to enable the feature thumbnail in the WordPress editor. And if you do that, then you get a thumbnail as you first post image instead of the 300x300 that you (namely, I) want.
I'm happy with the current related posts plugin which is contextual. I don't have to use tags (which I don't like so much), and it does a great job of finding closely related posts from the context.
Some day I'd like a related posts widget with independent thumbnails that I can put in the sidebar...

Thanks!
Hmm, odd, I don't know why the widgets don't update immediately...
