    The problem seems to be the get_cf5_yarpp_related_posts() function which isn't calling yarpp_cache_enforce() correctly. That function, get_cf5_yarpp_related_posts(), is not a part of YARPP itself. Perhaps it's written by some other plugin or a theme? You should contact that author or, better yet, stop using that plugin/theme.

    In the mean time, I'm making it so that in the next version of YARPP I'll check to make sure the right type of value is used for the yarpp_cache_enforce() function so that this error never happens.

    The get_cf5_yarpp_related_posts() function is called by the Related Post Slider plugin.

    At around line 170 in related-posts-slider.php the call is made:

    //if using YARPP
    	if($related_plugin == 'yarpp') {
    		if(function_exists(yarpp_related)){
    		  $rps_posts=get_cf5_yarpp_related_posts($type,array(),false);
    		}
    	}

    I use the Related Post Slider plugin and I suspect djkrimp does as well. While it is a great plugin, it's lack of maintenance, dependency on the YARRP plugin (it does not work with YARRP 3.4.x) and it's creating giant error files (it can generate a 500MB one in a 24 hours period) is making me think of just junking it and going with something else.

    Yes, unfortunately RPS used some private method's of YARPP's early on which were not supported. RPS would have to be modified to support more recent versions of YARPP.

    The good news is that the new version of the Related Post Slider plugin now supports YARRP 3.4.x and the error calls have stopped, as have the huge error log files.
