YARP wraps template output in extra div (4 posts)

Despite having YARP set to use a custom template, YARP 4.06 wraps my template output in a div, i.e. <div class="yarpp-related">...</div>. YARP 3.x didn't do this. Is there any way to turn this off? It completely breaks my page layout and I've not been able to work around this - have had to revert to 3.5.5.

That's right. This was added with YARPP 4.0. In all cases it should be possible to make this work fine with your custom template. If you post your template, we could try to debug it.

Well, my layout uses sections to divide content rather than divs, so none of my css targeting/layout works anymore and would prefer to not have to write additional CSS code to override this. It seems strange to force people to work around this new behaviour...?

I'm sorry to hear that that's been an issue. It's a decision that I didn't make lightly, and allows for a lot more CSS targeting out of the box. It should not be hard to tweak your CSS code to target the related posts accordingly.

Thanks for using YARPP and chiming in! :)
