   Are you guys working with Yahoo! to update their version of MySQL from the current 4.1.14 to > 5.0, so we could upgrade WordPress?

   No. WordPress has no influence over what webhosts are running.

   I'm stuck with Yahoo for at least another 9 months. I wonder if a significant number of Yahoo customers using WordPress could expedite their decision to upgrade MySQL?
