   I originally posted the installation issue (error upon installing & only ever get the error-ridden successful install screen) here

   Moderator samboll suggested following the steps on this page, which I did:

   and I still have the same problem.

   I followed the steps 1-5 at that link, and then went back to the Yahoo interface and clicked on View Your Blog which took me to the install page, where I entered a blog name and email address and hit Install WordPress. I still get a page full of errors.

   In my phpMyAdmin screen I have 3 databases:
   blog (23)
   mysql (6)
   wordpress(0)

   If you manually install WordPress (which is what those notes are for) then the View Your Blog would NOT work. View Your Blog is only going to work if the blog is installed using Yahoo's tools.
