    Hi There,

I have installed WP SEO plugin on an Addon domain. WP installtion is on yourdomain.com/newdomain . Here, /newdomain is a sub directory for addon domain assigned as http://www.newdomain.com . I have changed the Site URL to http://www.newdomain.com from WP General setting page. Both the sites (Primary and Addon) are running smoothly.

But XML Sitemap feature is not working on Addon domain only (working nicely on primary domain with same settings). It is showing a blank page (no 404 error) when I hit the XML Sitemap button. I have tried with XML Sitemap Generator plugin but couldn't generate sitemap pages yet.

Moreover, WP can't rewrite the .htaccess file on this Addon domain however the file's permission is set as 0644. Even WP can't generate .htaccess file automatically. I have uploaded it manually to the Addon domain directory (yourdomain.com/newdomain). No Success !

If anybody has any idea on this issue, Please share it.

    Thanks in advance!
    D.

Hi... I'm having some similar related issues. We are running our site as an add-on domain on our host. WordPress is installed in: mydomain.com/newdomain/ and the site is running as newdomain.com

The XML sitemap seems to be generating ok... see 'http://harmonicfundservices.com/sitemap_index.xml'

But all of our 3rd party SEO analytics keep generating warnings that there is no sitemap. And I'm wondering weather

So it would be great to first confirm the proper WP SEO settings and file locations for add-on domains and also what the outside world like crawlers and SEO tools need.

    Thanks in advance.
