I have Arne Brachhold's sitemap on my blog at http://mypcsecurityblog.com When I write a new post, it shows that Google & Ask.com have been notified, but the notification to Yahoo always fails. Is this because an API key is required? I have a key, now what the heck do I do with it? Where does it go?

I'm getting the same thing using WP 2.3.1 and the latest sitemap 3.0.1 - Yahoo doesn't work. Additionally, here are just SOME of the errors shown in debug mode (it would be many pages if I posted them ALL :(

    Hi,

the notices are normal, that's just because the plugin doesn't query all available data of the posts from the database, but only the fields which are needed (that saves a lot of memory).

The YAHOO ping service has been down quite often in the last time, it's not a problem with the plugin itself.

    Best regards,

    Arne

Thanks for that note, Arne. But can you tell me, is an API key required for Yahoo notification? If so, where & how do I install it?
