• I just finished installing WP this evening on a site, and I’m having a problem with the admin screen. In IE, I can’t even get to the admin because I get this error:

XML document must have a top level element. Error processing resource ‘http://www.[snip].com/wp-admin/’.

However, in Firefox, I get a momentary message at the login screen, and then I’ll get the login. Once I’m logged in, I get the same error when editing a page. The message flashes to the screen, then goes back to the dashboard. This is the error:

XML Parsing Error: no element found.
    Location: http//www.[snip].com/wp-admin/page.php
    Line Number 1, Column 1:

    ^

VERY weird. It’s a vanilla install of WP at this point, and I just installed the exact same files on a different domain yesterday (same host). Any ideas? Thanks for your help!
