   I want to map all the best fishing spots around my home. I have installed XML Google Maps and it is working ok on my WordPress 2.6.2 blog.

   I want to mark my home with one placemark and all the fishing spots with a different placemark. On each placemark I want to place a small photo of the spot and the type of fish that I have caught in that spot.

   Can I encode this information into a XML file and have the plugin read it in?

   Yes you need to put all that info into the placemark file.
   I use kml files.
