   I know this topic was addressed a year ago but... I am trying to get this to work myself. The gallery is great! But confused by the XML map possibilities. Also, it seems that the GPS info doesn't travel into the Next Gen Gallery. Can talk to me like a 4yr old? : ) Sorry. Thanks.

   Don't let Next Gen Gallery resize your photos while uploading, or you will lose the geocode in the photo (go to Next Gen Gallery's options, un-select "Automatically resize images on upload."), this worked for me.
