I'm just starting out in wp plugin dev. i've toyed with it a bit, but am having trouble identifying how to go about the following scenario.
say i have an xml feed of books. i don't want to enter the books into the db, but i do want to pull from the xml the list and have each item link to it's own wp page displaying more details as provided by the xml.
though it would be nice, i'm not necessarily asking for an full coded solution, but maybe a pointer in the right direction to get an understanding of how to.
perhaps i need a better understanding of permalinks, page-types, and such...but i'm not sure. if you could point to an excellent tutorial on this, that would be GREAT!
