Just a quick heads up for anyone thinking of using xd forum plugin with the popular vslider2 theme - xd forum breaks the auto-generated links in the header. I'm sure there's a way round it, but I'm posting this to save someone else going round the houses trying to work out why all their links disappeared!
Which is a shame, because xd forum looked good. I'll keep an eye open for a solution, but it doesn't look like XD is being maintained.

Posted 6 years ago #There is a solution. In the XDForum Admin under the Manage tab, make sure the Create Pages Link is set to No. Then, get the Angsuman’s Permanent Redirect (here). Make a page and use the redirect custom field set to redirect the forum to the correct address. Works like a charm on my site (here - click on forum).
An updated version of the XDForum plugin is coming soon from what the author
writes on http://www.xdweb.net.
