• Hey,

Is thre a text editor for when Im doing a post that supports Safari? The current one that I have doesn’t work on my MAC only on my Windows…. Also I want it to be like “fully loaded” media stuff, aligns, bold, italic… you get the idea…

Ahhh also.. you know on Blogger how when you upload an image the text aligns itself around the image… what plug in is that??

    Thanks,
    Joey Dee

  • Why not treat yourself to Firefox or Camino? In some respects both are better browsers than Safari.

No idea about the Blogger thingy. I have classes of alignleft and alignright that do this.

Firefox is great, but I like the simplicity of Safari 🙂

So this aligning to the left & right… is there a plugin for it that you use? or you code everything html when you post?

It is not a plugin, it is in the CSS. I code it when I write the post directly (in WP) or add it as an option when I post via ecto (much more frequently).

So i would need to code CSS or there is allready a pre existing code for this?

It depends which theme you are using. Many already include three alignment classes: right, left and centre.

Not sure if you want something more than what is built in, but once you have an image in your editor, you can click on the image, click on the image properties icon (or use Alt-M if you like keyboarding as much as possible like I do), and then select the alignment. Using Left or Right will cause text to wrap around the image and place the image on whichever side you specify.
