I have instaled v2.6 and the WYSIWYG simply disapeared. There are no option to use this editor or not in user setings panel. All solutions stated in this forum did not work for me. Has anybody had similar problem? and maybe somebody knows how to fix it?

Posted 3 years ago #The only suggestion I can give everyone is do a backup of previous version first before downloading "newest version" on your computer in a folder where you know you can find it in case the "newest" version is not working properly. That way when the "newest version" e.g. 2.6 is not working properly, not letting you log in, etc. You can go back into your FTP for your blog and delete newest version folders and files and reinstall the previous version. That is what I did today after working on version 2.6 for over an hour. Went back to 2.5.1. It has been 13 days since the newest release and WordPress has not fixed the main problem with this upgrade yet!
