  • Resolved Smithdesign

    (@smithdesign)

    When I installed the new version of WP, the wysiwyg was included in the admin when I made entries. Then I imported b2evo and now it’s gone.

    Anyone know where I can turn it back on, or get it showing up and working again?

  • Clear your browser cache and do a forced reload of the page that you are looking at.

    I have the same problem here in Firefox 2.0.1 and neither a forced refresh nor a deleting the cache resolved it.
    I always only get the two tabs “Visual” and “Code” and for a blink of an eye it seems the editor itself wants to come up, but then the buttons (Save, Publish, …) jump up right underneath the tabs of the editor (while being right-aligned though). I remember having similar problems with 2.0.x and I blamed one of the Firefox Extensions for it.
    Now maybe I will try disabling them one in a row… but tomorrow. 🙂

    Schwarzerf… did you ever manage to get a fix to this? I’m having the same problems.

    I have never had the wysiwyg…. I thought that was how it was meant to be. Interested to spot this thread now!
    At the moment I write in pure html and just hope it’s all right. Not that I ever write much!

    I use Maxthon, an IE based browser. I have installed v2.1.3 of WordPress

    Users -> Your profile.

    Check the box (top of the page) to use the visual editor.
