    Hi,

I have a wordpress installation on one of my domains, yesterday I added another in a folder i put into the root. I had no problems setting it up and it all works fine.

The problem is my original installation is a http://www.mydomain.com and the 2nd installation shows as http://mydomain.com/another-installation/?

Why does the 2nd installation now have a http://www.? Is there anyway i can resolved this?

    Thanks,
    Max

What plugins are you using? I have the same thing happening here. I can get the 'Server not found' error to go away by inserting a 'www' in the hyperlinks that once coded fine as 'domain.com' without the www.

My particular problem has been corrected as the nameservers for the domain in question were temporarily disabled. With them back online the site is resolving correctly with or without the 'www'.
