• Hello there,

I have a problem not only with the Comment Time Stamp, but also having some a problem with the Date and Time settings particularly in the Default time format. I have tried to search for the forum, but i can’t get any answer to that, and I have tried to visit http://php.net/date, but still no hope. Further more, I am not having any knowledge in PHP , and therefore needed some help in here.

I am using the latest version on WordPress, downloaded today on 15th July 07 , and I am not using any template. My web hosting PHP version is 5.2.1 .. I am a newbie and trying to set up things and try out with some stuffs.

My time zone is UTC+8 , and it is now 12:13 p.m at my place. While I am checking into the Default time format, it shows that my output time is 12:13 , UTC . I used the code of : ‘H:i:s, e’ ,where ‘H:i:s’ is performing well, but ‘e’ is not, it shows as UTC..

    According to http://php.net/date :
H = 24-hour format of an hour with leading zeros.
i = Minutes with leading zeros
s = Seconds, with leading zeros
e = Timezone identifier (added in PHP 5.1.0)

On the other hand, i have tried to post a message to my own blog, and gave comment on it. It shows up as the correct time, but wrong Timezone (I am staying in Malaysia, whereas it was showing America/Denver) … It is kind of weird.

I have been testing for several times, clearing cookies, and I don’t know what else I can do to correct it. Is there anyone able to help me ? Or is there anyone has had this kind of experience before ?

    Thanks in advance…
