Writing out the Date

    What I would like to do is have the date (the day) from the_date() be outputted in written form. For example if it were March 29, 2008 then it would should up as March twenty-ninth, 2008. From what I know, this isn’t a possible output of the php date function: is there some way for me to filter and replace 01-31 so that they show up written out?
