Writing a Computer Program

Ok so i need to write this computer program for a class of mine and i basically do not know how to do it and i need some help.the program has to be like a sort of animation or a game that goes like this: 10 people at a fair have to shoot 10 cardboard ducks that pop out.but u do not know which duck they are going to shoot.its all about random assignment.so they only get oen shot and after their one shot(they always make the shot so thats not going to be taken into account) it has to be shown how many ducks are left.so it is possible that one person chose to shot the same duck.
