I'm trying to make it so I can email an address, and it will post to my blog. However, it does not work. I receive the email, but it doesn't get posted.

OK, now I get this error. Any clue?
Ooops POP3 connect: Error [220 DCCOMPUTER.derekmacdonald.net ESMTP MailEnable Service, Version: 1.92-- ready at 03/06/06 16:42:17]
What are we doing when we get that error?
Staring at a computer screen wondering why there's an error? Just a guess...
lol, ok. Point taken.
What are we doing Just Before we get that error?
I'm having the same problem - email doesn't show up in my blog. I'm using the previous version of WP.
I'm using WP-Cron plugin. The reminder plugin sends me email so I know that WP-Cron is running, and the WP-Mail plugin is set to 15 minutes. but nothing is showing up.
I've read and re-read the setting up blog by email article but I'm still missing something. Do I need to add an author with the same name as the email user name?
Thanks
So I am getting emails from my host with the subject line:wp-mail error
and the message:
Ooops POP3: premature NOOP OK, NOT an RFC 1939 Compliant server
Does this mean that my host site does not support it? Or what am I doing wrong?
Thanks.
