I have a big problem, When I was trying to create a new page, all of my categories aren’t listed in my dropdown menu. By page categories I mean page parents. I noticed that only 20 are showing.

I am using version 2.0.4 (the latest version).

I have searched EVERYWHERE for help with no such luck. I have found related topics but most of them are from version 1.5 and I have looked in my admin-functions.php file for the LIMIT 100 part, but I don’t have that part, I don’t have a limit in there. I have also tried changing a bunch of the bigint values from 20 to 100 but nothing has worked so far.

Please help me, I don’t know what to do and I can’t find any other topics that will help me!

  • I’m having this problem too – i can only see 20 pages in the page parent drop down list.

I can continue to add pages, but only the first 20 pages actually appear in the page parent downdown.

You can mark this thread as resolved.

The problem was cause by FireFox. Firefox allows the dropdown to extend past the edge of the screen (on the right) – which meant I wasn’t seeing the rest of the dropdown because the scroll bar was hidden by the screen.

I just resized the browser window, and everything came into view and I was able to scroll down to see the other pages.

I noticed this when I opened Page Management in Internet Explorer – which isn’t affected in the same manner.

I also found this was a Firefox problem, however, it didn’t have to do with my window size so I don’t know. I have just been adding pages in Interent Explorer instead of Firefox. =\
