Write new post – upload.php not refreshing

Greetings,

Lately I have been having the following issue: when, on the ‘Write post’ page, I use the upload part to upload an image, the iframe does not refresh to allow for another upload, or send the just uploaded image to the editor; instead it just becomes a white page. If I want to upload another image, I have to refresh the entire page. Clearly this is not how it is intented and I remember a few versions ago it was working fine. Now it is not.

It happens in Firefox 2.0.0.7 as well as in IE7. I have already removed all WP files from the server and uploaded fresh 2.3 ones, but to no avail. ALso worth noting is that the server is running PHP 5.2.3 and MySQL 5.0.22.

Any clues? 🙂
