Write data from a form in wordpress into an external database

    Is there any posibility how I can send data submitted from a form within wordpress (using “post”) to an external database? I don’t get it running, no entrys in the DB so far. 🙁

    A little background: The current website uses registragion forms which are set up to send the new user data directly to the members database.

    Did you every have any luck with this. I have the exact same problem I have a form on a website that submits user data to a backend members database but I can’t get it to work within wordpress. I’ve tried php Execute and a few other plugins but no joy.
