   Hi!
   On the search result page, if you press the big white search button, you get send to http://search.wordpress.org/ and that page still uses the old layout.

   ...and that's something that might look good on a to do list.
   though I don't mind if it stays like that forever after. I just thought it might help usability to have one common design accross the whole website... :)
