    Hello

I’ve been learning the WordPress MultiSite. All users for these sites (listed in the snag.gy link / image below) are super admins.

Recently, when I add a new site, the site is added to the main network list, as the screen grab illustrates. All new sites I create are now added to this My Sites list, whereas site created earlier are listed separately. – what’s the difference between both types (listed in the main admin list .vs general site list), and what is the best approach, or convention for creating sites – e.g. should they all be listed in Network Admin My Sites?

    Thank you

    Dylan

Can anyone please provide an explanation?

    Put simply:

    • “My Sites” list all of the sites that your user account belongs to.
    • “All Sites” lists all of the sites on the network.

The other sites on the network will appear in your “My Sites” list if your user account is added to them.

It’s a bit confusing because as a Network Administrator you can see/access all of the sites, even if your user account hasn’t been added to them.

    Thanks for your reply Andy.

So, Sites created by Network Admin are added to the My Sites list.

Sites created with other users (including assigned Super Admin) appear in My Sites > Network Admin > Sites.

I suppose there’s nothing wrong with how sites are administered, admittedly it’s quite messy, but I’m testing.
