    Hi,

I noticed on your site that under Wish List that you dropped the compatibility with WPML, I am a member that has been waiting for that for a while and WPML is telling me that they are working on it, however, it has been numerous months that I am waiting, are you suggesting that I switch to another translating service? I would rather keep WP album and try to find another way to translate my site than to find another photo gallery

    thanx

The use of WPML would imply that there must be different albums for each language, with the same photos as content. This is what will never be done in wppa+ as it is regarded as too dangerous with respect to keep system consistency. A photo can only be in one album.

In qTranslate – which plugin is actively supported by wppa+ – one can have different languages in one field. The name of a photo can be e.g.:

[en:]This is an example[nl:]Dit is een voorbeeld

and will automaticly display the correct text according to the selected language.

So, it is strongly recommended to use qTranslate to get wppa+ multilingual. It is simple and – to my opinion – fool proof.
